I worry about Addie when it gets into the single digits. Blanket or no blanket? If she is without, I worry that she is too cold. If I put it on, I worry that she'll get tangled up in it because the buckle on one side is torn off. It doesn't matter that her owners insist that they have only had to blanket her once in 17 years.
I tried a new tactic this year. On the coldest nights I fueled her furnace with an extra meal late in the day. It worked. Now will I worry that she'll eat too much? Is that even possible?
I booked our flight to Florida for April vacation today.
That should help get me through this next storm.
